Skills Discovery 2 Week Virtual Workshop Series

Soft skills are the foundation for handling life’s challenges and working well with others, yet they are rarely taught directly. This two-week series helps participants build them in a supportive, engaging setting.

Week 1: Focus on You
Participants learn to manage stress, communicate clearly, listen actively, and present their best selves with confidence.

Week 2: Focus on Working with Others
Participants strengthen teamwork, conflict management, networking, and self-marketing skills, and explore how to balance health, wellness, and collaboration.

The result is a practical foundation participants can apply right away in their job search and workplace. The program is based on Canada’s Skills for Success model, focusing on the 5 key social-emotional skills: Adaptability, Communication, Collaboration, Creativity & Innovation, and Problem Solving. These are the skills employers value most, and the ones that will help people succeed in their lives.
