The IEEQ seeks to improve the quality of the tourism education, training and research programmes. It provides a global framework of standards and criteria to evaluate tourism education, training or research institution’s effectiveness. The IEEQ is applicable to any institution for measuring the effectiveness of their academic system, as well as their degree of inclusion of the tourism industry and students needs in those programmes.
