Blended Learning

Blended learning combines traditional face-to-face instruction with online or digital resources. In a balanced classroom:

  • Core Concepts Delivered Directly: The teacher may introduce key concepts through brief lectures, guided practice, or digital content.
  • Independent Exploration: Students engage with online resources, videos, or interactive tools to reinforce or expand on what was taught.
  • Collaborative Activities: Classroom time is used for discussions, group work, or hands-on projects where students apply what they’ve learned.
  • Flexible Pacing: Digital resources allow students to revisit content at their own pace, while the teacher provides targeted support.

Example: In a science class, students might watch an online tutorial about ecosystems at home. In class, they conduct experiments in groups to observe real-life interactions between organisms.
